 For the smooth functioning of YFI  mission department is categorized into these

Spiritual Department

• Spiritual empower, mission challenge, seminars.
• Camps- one day, two days and state camps.
• Leadership training camps.
• Personal, Pre marriage, Family counselling programme

Evangelism Department

•  Evangelism by visiting jails
• Mission Journeys- mission by visiting different villages in India
• Evangelism through music
• Personal evangelism
• Public meeting, mini conventions and film exhibitions
• Music team, Music fest- Evangelism through  music

 Church Enrichment Programmes
          YFI organises conventions and public meetings to support various spiritual and evangelical activities of the churches from different denominations.

 Arts and Literary Department

• Quiz test or literary competitions: Every year, under the guidance of central  office, district and state level quiz fest and literary competitions are held.  It encourages children to utilize their different skills for sound welfare and it also organizes various music programmes which help children to expose themselves to audience.

Social Welfare Department provides leadership for the social activities of YFI. Following are the categories of Social Welfare Department for its smooth functioning.  

Charity department

• It aims to visit orphanages, old age homes, mental health care, leprosy center, TB center and provide help and support.
• Visit relief camps
• Educational help and provide study materials

Youth Department

• Special programmes in college.
• Conducting seminars against drugs, alcohol, smoking, aids and sexual abuse.
• personality development, career guidance, exam preparation and social awareness seminars
• youth churches

Kids Department

• conducting VBS programmes
• special programmes in schools
• conducting seminars against drugs, alcohol, smoking, aids and sexual  abuse
• personality development, career guidance, exam preparation and social awareness seminars
• kids club 

Hospital and street ministry

• medical camp, cleaning activities, lifesaving mission
• complete blood donating system
• Lifesaving mission in natural disastrous areas 
• provide food for those who wandering in streets
• provides shelter for children and old parents who are abandoned in hospitals and streets
